Hello tout le monde, je suis de retour avec les reviews d’hôtels et pour un retour en douceur, je me lance à l’assaut d’Ibis hôtel Marcory Abidjan. Cet hôtel du groupe Accor fait partie des points de chutes des voyageurs depuis quelques années et je me devais d’y faire un tour…
Ibis hôtel Marcory Abidjan
Situé sur le boulevard Giscard d’Estaing avant ou après le grand carrefour de Koumassi, l’hôtel n’a pas vraiment de hall. Faisant partie des moyens de gamme, sécurité, réception et restaurant sont presque confondus laissant la place aux chambres au-dessus.
Ayant oublier de réserver sur Booking pour bénéficier d’un tarif préférentiel de 45 000 FCFA, je me retrouve à payer le prix standard qui est de 75 000 FCFA.
Ma chambre située au troisième étage est déjà climatisée, ce que je trouve rafraîchissant. Le pas de porte passé, j’insère ma carte pour activer la luminosité et fais le tour du propriétaire.
À droite, on a la salle de bain, tout droit, un écran plat et en dessous toute la documentation dont un client a besoin, suivi de l’armoire, d’un bureau, du téléphone et occupant un bel espace au centre de la chambre le lit.
La literie est impeccable, de même que le mobilier de la chambre. La salle de bain par contre montre des signes de vieillissement. Les serviettes ont perdu leur blancheur d’antan, le porte-savon est rouillée, le sol pas si propre. On y a le réflexe de marcher sur la pointe des pieds ou d’arroser le tout d’eau très chaude en espérant un minimum de désinfection. L’aménagement de la salle de bain est également au strict minimum avec juste du savon coté lavabo et douche.
La chambre n’a pas de réfrigérateur ou sinon j’ai dû le rater. Pour 75 000 FCFA, j’avoue qu’ils auraient pu faire des efforts.
Après une bonne douche, je teste le lit et j’avoue que pour la deuxième fois, la literie d’un hôtel marquera positivement mon esprit (découvrez la première fois ici). Je ne suis ni trop en surface ni trop en dessous, le juste milieu et la fraîcheur des draps associée à cet équilibre me font passer une nuit magnifique !
Rien que pour ça, j’ai failli fermer les yeux sur les autres détails pas très reluisants.
Pour les voyageurs d’affaires, les courts séjours, Ibis hôtel Marcory Abidjan est l’hôtel idéal à quelques points d’hygiène près. Pour le prix affiché, le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas vraiment bon. Un rafraîchissement et une personnalisation des douches ne seraient pas un luxe.
Bon points : la literie, la climatisation, l’écran plat, l’armoire spacieuse
Mauvais points : l’hygiène de la salle de bain, la mine du réceptionniste, le manque de personnalisation de la salle de bain

Ibis hotel Marcory AbidjanLocated on Giscard d’Estaing Boulevard before or after the big Koumassi junction, the hotel does not really have a lobby. As part of the range, security, reception and restaurant are almost confused leaving room for the rooms above.
Having forgotten to book on Booking to benefit from a preferential rate of 45,000 FCFA, I find myself paying the standard price of 75,000 FCFA.
My room on the third floor is already air conditioned, which I find refreshing. The past door, I insert my card to activate the brightness and go around the owner.
On the right, we have the bathroom, straight, a flat screen and below all the documentation that a client needs, followed by the wardrobe, a desk, the telephone and occupying a beautiful space in the center of the room the bed.
The bedding is impeccable, as well as the furniture of the room. The bathroom, on the other hand, shows signs of aging. The towels have lost their whiteness of yesteryear, the soap dish is rusty, the floor not so clean. There is the reflex to walk on tiptoe or to sprinkle everything with very hot water hoping for a minimum of disinfection. The layout of the bathroom is also at the bare minimum with just the soap side wash basin and shower.
The room does not have a refrigerator or I had to miss it. For 75,000 FCFA, I admit that they could have made efforts.
After a good shower, I test the bed and I admit that for the second time, the bedding of a hotel will positively mark my spirit (discover the first time here). I am neither too much above nor below, the balance and the coolness of the sheets associated with this balance make me spend a beautiful night!
Just for that, I almost closed my eyes to other details not very shiny.
For business travelers, short breaks, Ibis Hotel Marcory Abidjan is the perfect hotel within a few hygienic points. For the price displayed, the price-quality ratio is not really good. Refreshing and customizing the showers would not be a luxury.
Good points: bedding, air conditioning, flat screen, spacious wardrobe
Bad points: the hygiene of the bathroom, the mine of the receptionist, the lack of personalization of the bathroom
